3. For Kinesthetic People

Kinesthetic people are those types of possible targets that really like action, or any activity that would make them feel something. They tend to understand you better if you discuss your argument with them by making them imagine and experience the situation within their minds. They are also the types of people who tend to raise questions over and over again until they can trigger an appropriate reaction or a feeling that can help them connect to your ideas.

Keep in mind that kinesthetic people are those who generally appear to have a short attention span. They tend to move – they keep on stretching their legs and arms every minute and they seem like they can’t stay seated for a very long time. They are the ones who always ask for breaks during seminars. You can also spot them easily by finding people who tend to be pushy or intrusive of personal space.

When dealing with this type of target, make sure that you keep your argument very short and sweet. They want the conversation short, but they also want to hear the complete details – they want hear the specifics and they need them fast. If they do not feel that everything is right there in front of them, they will ask others to deal with the details instead. That means that they tend to jump to conclusions based on their initial reaction, and they tend to think that everything is done before they are aware of everything that they need to know. However, keep in mind that you need to be patient with them – they are very quick to perceive and react to tension.

If you want to keep talking to a kinesthetic person, make sure that you give them an activity to keep their body busy and to make them focus their attention on you. Make sure that you deal with them face-to-face in order to ensure that they have not drifted off to tend to other things in their thoughts, or are too busy trying to assess their feelings. They are also the ones who like comfort a lot, so it may be a good idea to take them out for dinner or coffee.
